Advantages to be a sponsor for GPC2007

You are invited to support the GPC2007 conference. This is an ideal way to demonstrate your organization's interest in and commitment to the field of Grid and Pervasive Computing, and to publicize this support to many leaders and students in the field.

The International Conference on Grid and Pervasive Computing (GPC) is an annual international conference on the emerging areas of merging grid and pervasive computing, aimed at providing an exciting platform and paradigm for all the time, everywhere services. Grid and Pervasive Computing (GPC) is a forum for scientists, engineers, and practitioners throughout the world to exchange ideas and research results related to the design, use, analysis, and application in the field of grid computing and pervasive computing.

Corporate sponsor support is typically used to permit a greater number of graduate students to attend GPC'2007 at reduced fees without artificially increasing the general registration, and for student volunteers to receive complimentary registration. Corporate support can also be targeted to support a particular event or activity at the GPC conference. For example, we offered a technical talk for each company giving a Gold Sponsorship (see below). Another opportunity is for the banquet or for a reception to be fully sponsored by your company (such agreement is not part of the Silver or Gold sponsorships).

The conference recognizes two levels of contribution -- Corporate Silver Sponsors and Corporate Gold Sponsors. Gold Sponsors of GPC'2007 are very important to the conference, and the conference committee ensures that their contribution is well recognized. We list the benefits on the right.

The two levels of sponsorship

Silver Sponsor (5000€ or more) Gold Sponsor (8000€ or more)

In recognition of your support at the "Sponsor" level, the GPC Conference will acknowledge your corporate sponsorship in the following ways:

On the conference advance program, your name and logo will be used.
Your company name and logo will be included in all the conference announcements.
Your company name, logo and link will be included in the conference web pages.
We will announce your company's contribution and offer thanks at the opening and closing sessions of the conference.
You will have the opportunity to include material and give-aways with the conference material for each attendee.
You will get one free registration for someone from your company to attend the conference.
Corporate Gold Sponsors receive all the benefits of Silver Sponsors as well as the following additional benefits:

Your company may give a technical talk during the conference
Your company may present a software demo, or a stop of their roadmap
Your name will be listed in all the material as a Gold Sponsor. You will receive special acknowledgement as a Gold Sponsor in the conference announcements and publications.
We will name an event after your company. For example, there are generally six coffee breaks and two receptions, plus a student reception. Naming of events will be decided based on the amount of the contribution and otherwise on a first-come-first-serve basis.
You will get one additional free registration (for a total of two) so two people from your company can attend the conference for free.
