Just a quick note (see the French translation for more details): I made a small talk at the "Programmation sur automates cellulaires" meeting organised by Jean-Baptiste Yunès. I mostly presented the same thing as my 1995 master talk, with almost nothing changed (due to family obligations). The meeting was very good, and we had productive thoughts on what should be a cellular automaton simulator and design program. A large part of the CA French community was here (like for JAC 2008).
