Jadis, je fus "entraîneur" en classes préparatoires (lycée Lakanal à Sceaux), ensuite sous les lumières de mon maître à penser (pensées?) Marcel-Paul Schützenberger, j'ai rejoint le monde de la recherche, où je continue d'évoluer à cheval entre combinatoire, mathématiques, informatique et physique théorique. J'ai intégré en septembre 2004 le LIPN ; j'étais auparavant professeur au LIFAR à Rouen, où je dirigeais une joyeuse équipe dédiée au calcul (CSCA).
